Stopping the H1N1 flu swine flu is easy for most of us who get a swine flu shot. I know the fear is, “if I get the swine flu shot, I will have problems”. Many people would rather TAKE A CHANCE of catching the H1N1 flu than catch a mild swine flu.
The H1N1 flu swine flu will be more severe /fatal due to mutations in the germ. These changes are receptor domain changes at position D225G/N. The good part is the swine flu vaccine should work in most cases. However, the D225G/N has a low reactor response to it. This means that the vaccine probably will not work on the D225G strain. Read some of my blogs to see the importance of the D225G/N. you will find it at http://flustop.blogspot.com.
The key to stopping the H1N1 flu swine flu is getting the swine flu shot. The shot should make you immune to up to 95% of the germ. The other 5% of the virus may be the D225G/N strain. This means that you could be protecting yourself from up to 95% of the virus.
The CDC thinks getting the H1N1 flu swine flu shot is the single most effective way in stopping the swine flu. I also agree with that.
But wait. The New Numbers are in. 3 1/2 Months Shows the H1N1 Flu Swine Shot is Very SAFE!
See the USA today article: swine flu vaccine safe California and CDC data. This data shows one in every 10,000 Californians who caught the H1N1 flu died from it. These numbers are from the State Department of Health. Three out of 13 million California died from the germ. These are extremely low numbers. They show that the vaccine is safe!
The next time you are thinking about protecting yourself/family think about what Anne Schuchat, the Centers for Disease Control Prevention said.
"You now have the luxury of 3 1/2 months of data that couldn't be more reassuring".
Nationwide, there were more than 120 million shots and 8,294 adverse events. Of those events, 94% were non-serious such as soreness at the sight of injection or the tingling of the arm and only 6% serious. These numbers are similar to the seasonal flu.
