Flu Stop: Flu Stop: Diabetes Flu/Swine: Understanding How Diabetes H1N1 Flu Swine Flu Mix. Free Diabetes Swine Flu Manual.

The flu/swine is mutating as I write these lines. There is a change in the receptor domain of the swine flu at position D225G. This change was also in the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic. It was the worst flu outbreak of all times.

It looks like the third wave of the H1N1 flu swine flu could be more severe/deadly. It would be wise for people with diabetes to plan for the worst. If you have diabetes/flu, you have larger risk. The swine flu could trigger pneumonia in 24 hours. And you could have more severe or deadly problems. People who do not have diabetes could also catch pneumonia due to the swine flu. However, people with diabetes have a higher risk.

The CDC thinks that people with diabetes should get both flu shots. That would include the normal flu shot plus the swine flu shot. Also, because the flu/swine could cause pneumonia, you should get that shot too. These shots could save your life.

Recent reports from the CDC and the California Heath Department prove the swine flu vaccine is safe. Plus, you can get both flu shots at the same time. See some of my blogs at http://www.flustop.blogspot.com. Read some of my post to see the good news.

The swine flu shots will guard you against the H1N1 flu. However, the D225G strain in Russia/Ukraine shows a low reactor to the vaccine. This means that it will probably not work against the D225G strain. The new strain will most likely be less than 5% of the swine flu germ. This means that the swine flu shot should guard you against up to 95% of the germ. The best thing we all can do is to avoid catching the D225G/N strain. It has near a 100% death rate.

People with diabetes/flu should call their doctors or go to an emergency room fast. If they show any of the signs below:

1. If you have a hard time breathing, that is a key risk sign. Some strains of the flu/swine now spread deep in the lungs. It restricts airflow. If your doctor uses an antiviral drug within 48 hours, after symptoms appear, you have the best chance of healing.
2. You feel drowsy/sleepy or cannot think sharply.
3. You lose five plus pounds in a short time
4. You have moderate or large amounts of ketones in your urine.
5. You having bad diarrhea
6. You feel too sick to eat or unable to hold down food
7. Your temperature is above 101 degrees F for more than three days
8. If your blood glucose is lower than 60 mg/dl or remains over 300 mg/dl over 6 hours
9. If you are dehydrated (abnormally thirsty)

People with Diabetes should work HARD to Avoid the Swine Flu!

If you have diabetes, you should avoid the swine flu like Superman avoids kryptonite. You have a higher chance of severe/fatal problems if you catch the normal/flu/swine. Most facts you get from other sources are too broad. Those facts do not give enough detail to stop the small germ. See the examples below:

1. Avoid large crowds
2. Wash your hands often
3. Avoid touching your face
4. Stay away from people sick with the flu

In general, this is good advice. However, if you follow this advice word for word, you would have a good chance of catching the flu/swine. Why do I say this? Because, the germ is very small you cannot see, feel, hear or smell it when it is right next to you. It is not like trying to keep a cockroach from crawling under your door. It is only 80 to 120 billionths of a meter in diameter. When the moisture from the droplets dries, it leaves behind thousands of germs. These germs can float through the air and contaminate surfaces. It travels a 150 feet per second. If you are in its path within 3 feet, you have a good chance to catch the germ. When the germ falls from the air, it contaminates surfaces for up to a few days. You can catch it by touching that surface.

Of course, you can avoid crowds no problem. However, what does it mean to wash your hands frequently? Does that mean to wash your hands 10, 50 or 100 times a day? Think about how many germs are around your fingernails in the crevices. If you do not clean that area correctly, you increase your chances of catching the flu. Also, you need to check for sores and cuts on your hands. They provide easy access for the germ into your body. And there is more. When should you wash your hands, for how long, etc? Believe it or not, there is an art to washing your hands to protect/get rid of germs. The general rules say to avoid touching your face. Are you K-I-D-D-I-N-G me? This is a deeply ingrained human habit. You cannot break this one unless you do major habit breaking drills.

I used to teach karate. I know how to teach people how to break bad habits and create good new habits. It is simple. Repetition is the quickest and easy way to learn anything. You most learn by doing with positive/negative feedback daily. Also, to have the highest chance of success, you need all the details.

These details affect hundreds of decisions you need to make daily. You will not remember the little things that you need to do daily. Unless you practice daily for 21 days in a row the stuff, you need to do. Then you should learn a habitual response. This will by design cause you to react correctly. Great fighters learn to react to their opponent with the right response. If you do not practice enough, you will revert to your old habit. Humans forget 80% of what they have read in 24 hours.

Parents with Children that have Diabetes should work HARD to Avoid the Swine Flu!

Children under five catch the normal/flu/swine at a higher rate.
Their immune systems have not seen flu often. The ones that are under 2 years’ old immune systems are still developing. Therefore, they are more at risk to the germ. Children under two with diabetes have a greater chance of severe/fatal problems due to the reasons above.

It is important that they do not catch the virus from other family members. Someone else in the family may have a mild response to the flu/swine. However, the small child with diabetes could have severe/deadly problems to the same strain.

If your child has the swine flu and you see these WARNING signs, call a doctor/or get emergency room help ASAP.

1. Fever lasting more than three days

2. Difficulty in breathing or fast breathing
3. Gray or bluish skin
4. Dehydration
5. Not interacting or difficulty waking up
6. There flu symptoms get better but return later with a worse cough and fever
7. Severe or constant vomiting
8. They do not want you to hold them or they are bad-tempered

Flu Stop: Free H1N1 Flu Manual: Is H1N1 Flu more/less Severe/Fatal/Over? Get a free 165 pages H1N1 Flu Manual. It is interactive/multimedia.

People all over the world do not respect the H1N1 flu. They think it is as mild/milder as the normal flu. Some think the H1N1 flu was a hoax. Or it did not live up to the hype.

The World Health Organization must defend itself from misinformed heads of state. Some say the WHO managed the worldwide swine flu outbreak poorly. They think the WHO did this to help the drug companies make money. Billions of dollars went for H1N1 flu vaccines.

The WHO is between a rock and a hard spot. They are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

Go to
http://flustop.blogspot.com. Read some of my blogs to get a different view.

The third H1N1 flu wave starting soon will be more severe/deadly than the first two waves. To some experts this is a no brainer.

THE REASON WHY THE EXPERTS DO NOT AGREE ABOUT H1N1 FLU DETAILS IS DUE TO THE FOLLOWING:

1. The worldwide economy is the second worst ever. People in power do not want people worried. People will not spend as much money. This will cause economies not to grow. This means leaders will want other leaders to SUGARCOAT things that scare people. This is one reason confusing facts reaches the masses. Many times a leader will not infer/estimate from known facts. Thus, they may not have to face a problem that may or may not exist. They hope the problem will disappear. We all must infer and guess what the outcome will be whenever we make a decision. There are no guarantees in life. The most successful people make the best decision using the available facts. We must use all the facts proven/unproven.

2. SOME EXPERTS REALLY ARE NOT H1N1 FLU EXPERTS. Some people do not follow closely all the H1N1 flu events. We live in a society that demands everyone to specialize in things to be a true expert. Our society realizes that specialization creates the best results. Some people may be an expert in one thing but not in another. They may answer questions that they have not studied causing confusion. The H1N1 flu pandemic is tricky. Must people must follow it closely and know the history before predicting things. Many people do not know much about its history. Since a pandemic has not appeared for over 40 years, only a few know much about it. The others have spent much of their time with their specialty.

A doctor, who works with flu patients daily, may not be a H1N1 flu expert. The H1N1 flu subject is too big. He might be an expert in part of the subject but not in another.

3. Humans love to cheer up others during tough times. This is natural but when it twists the facts, it is risky. When a person responds to a question, they lean on their experience to answer. If they are not sure, many will try to be positive instead of negative about an outcome. I am a very positive person myself. However, when it comes to something that is life threatening, I go for doing the smart thing.

The same thing occurred in the 1918 Spanish flu outbreak. It started out mild as well. People were not prepared when it struck with revenge in the second wave. Sadly, this may happen again.

The worst part is people are expecting a mild flu. They do not think they need to prepare.

There was a 25% jump in positive samples for the H1N1 flu at the UNC hospital. This is the highest boost since the 2nd wave hit in mid Nov. Also, the CDC shows a rise (from 8.9% to 13%) in positive samples for H1N1 in Region 4. This is in their most recent report. These are signs that a third H1N1 flu wave is right around the corner.

Flu Stop: Beat H1N1 Flu Swine Flu that looks more like the 1918 Flu Everyday! FREE Beat Flu: Swine Flu Manual! It is a 165 pages interactive/multimedi

Our swine flu could be a CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK of the 1918 Spanish flu. That record-breaking flu killed up to fifty to a hundred million people.

We are learning more about how to beat the flu/ (swine). Our experts break a flu gene down through sequencing. We are able to see changes within a gene that cause problems’

The 1918 Spanish flu is the mother of the 1957, 1968 and our present swine flu pandemic. If you add all the deaths of the 1957 and 1968 outbreaks, they equal three million. These two outbreaks were much milder than the mother was in 1918.

All pandemics are unique. No child looks exactly like the parents. However, there are some eerie things that both have in common. Notice the similar traits below:

1. They both spread fast with high illness rates but normal deaths rates in the first wave.

2. The 1918 Spanish flu had much higher severe/fatal rates in its last two waves.

3. In both waves of the swine flu and all waves in 1918, the flu was mostly mild. > 95% of sick people had mild cases.

4. The last two waves of the Spanish flu had more severe and fatal cases. I think our third/fourth waves will have more severe/fatal cases.

5. The D225G mutation is going to change things. It will likely make our third/fourth wave severe/fatal.

6. The 1918 flu like our swine flu prefers the young. Many of the young pass away due to a cytokine storm. Their strong immune system works against them. Too much blood goes to the lungs to fight the germ causing the lungs to get flooded.

7. The D225G mutation was also in the swine flu in the US early on in April but was mild.

8. The D225G now has nearly a 100% death rate.

1. The percentage of the H1N1 flu that is D225G will decide how deadly the virus will be.

9. The 1918 outbreak had three waves in one year, which is very unusual. The next swine flu H1N1 wave will be our third one this year.

10. Many experts predict the third swine flu wave to start in a few weeks.

D225G was also present in the 1918 outbreak. I believe it starts out mild but mutates to a more severe form. In 1918, many experts thought that another virus came along to cause all the severe/fatal causes; I believe it was the D225G mutation evolving. The D225G mutation now has close to 100% death rate. These cases are popping up all over the world.

History could easily look back on the swine flu with regret. It could read something like the next few lines. Sadly, when the third or fourth flu wave hit, most people were not prepared. The swine flu was much different from before. Ninety-five percent of the flu cases were mild, but there were many severe/fatal cases. The death rate was > 1.5%. There were up to fifty million to a hundred million people who passed away.

I hope that I am wrong. However, when I look at the facts, the above statements seem to fit.

There are people/public officials, flu experts, etc. who thinks the pandemic is over. Believe me that is just wishful thinking. Most experts know the worst is probably yet to come. There are badly informed people/groups that care mainly about their own agendas.

Granted, this is the way of the world. However, in the final analysis, is this the best way to handle a major problem? I do not think so. In general, people/politicians will sugarcoat the problem. Is that really helping people who need to plan for the problem?

Do not panic the people but let them know a train is coming. And that train is likely coming down the tracks that they are standing on! If people do not have the facts, how can they make a smart decision?

Look at recent events:

1. Two weeks ago, there was a jump in severe/fatal cases at La Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis Tennessee. Out of 17 patients, seven went to intensive care (ICU). That is a ratio of 7/17 or 41% had to go to ICU. That is a very high rate. Two of the seven died which is a 29% death rate. If you compare that to what happened in the fall, you see a big jump in percentages. In the fall, there were thousands of sick people looking for help. 340 became patients; 30-40 went to ICU. About 10 % or 3 children died. Clearly, the percentage of severe/fatal cases is going up. See the table below to compare numbers.

1. Two weeks ago a head of state in Romania said the swine flu fatality rate was higher. The rate grew from 0.1% to 1.32% in six weeks. This number could go up even more.

Please excuse the cold-blooded use of these numbers to describe the flu’s potential danger. I will define a case fatality rate (CFR). Plus an Attack Rate (AT) so you can understand what these numbers mean.

The Case Fatality Rate grew to 1.32%. Those numbers sounds small but wait. It means the percentage of people who die of a germ.

The Attack Rate is the percentage of people in an area that catch the germ. The attack rate (AT) could be for the season or for the total pandemic. A pandemic that last two or more years could have an attack rate of 15 to 25% per wave. It is common for 50% or more of the population to catch a flu virus. The attack rate for the swine flu + the D225G/N mutation in Romania has grown from 15 to 20% to 25%.

If 1.32% was the CFR all over the world, see the table below to calculate a possible death count.

The Case Fatality Rate (CFR) (X) the Attack Rate (AT) (X) Population = # of deaths

This would be the approximate death rate in the US with 1.32% CFR. I am sure you will agree these numbers are huge no matter what happens.

It is hard to get countries to agree on how many people died from swine flu. Politics may play a role. Some countries may not want to give the real number of deaths. And some countries may not have the means or the desire to find if a person died from swine flu. Death could be from the swine flu or another problem. Many times the flu may be a trigger that starts the death cycle. But something else may have killed the person.

People with underlying health problems have a much higher risk of severe/fatal problems. These patients include people with asthma, diabetes, problems with the immune system and others.

Most people do not die directly from the flu. Unless it comes from a cytokine storm that floods the lungs with excess blood. This creates a link to the D225G mutation. It spreads deep in the lungs to cause problems. Or it could come from pneumonia. But other wise, people die due to putting excess stress on key body organs.

Therefore, the flu becomes the secondary reason for the death not the main reason. Doctors could report a patient died of a heart attack, a stroke, or bacterial infection. Since this would be instead of the swine flu, the CFR would be off. However, this will give you numbers to work with.

Do not be fooled by the reports that the pandemic is over. History shows this virus can go from mild to very deadly in only a few months.

Flu Stop: H1N1 Flu D225G Mutation is Causing More Deaths!

Key signs that could make the H1N1 Flu more deadly are rising. Look at the signs below to decide for yourself where the H1N1 Flu is going!

1. In the last month, severe patients test sent to the National Institute of Virology has increased 100 percent. This test was to confirm H1N1 infection.

2. The infection rate has increased to 25% from 15 to 20% worldwide. This means the strain is improving its survival chances.

3. If you increase the infection rate in the US by five or ten percent, that adds up to thirty million more people catching the virus per wave of activity.

4. Pune is a city in the state of Maharashtra, India. About thirty-six percent of the people in the state live there. However, about 55% of the 300 deaths in the state come from Pune. Clearly, the D225G strain is strong in the area.

5. D225G has a low reactor response to the vaccine. This means the vaccine will probably not work against the new strain.

6. A few days ago, the secretary of state in Romania said the H1N1 Fatality rate has increased from 0.1% to 1.32%. A 1% increase in the death rate worldwide could involve up to thirty-five million people.

Do not let the 1% increase in deaths go over your head! Stop for a moment and think. These are important signs of what could come next.

This kind of thing is starting to pop up in different parts of the world. The D225G is causing the problem.

Mandeep Chadha, deputy director of NIV talked about the 3 out of 3 D225G deaths (100% CFR). “We didn’t see any change in the genetic make-up of the virus after that. Of the three patients, two were from pune and one from Nashik. The mutation was detected in the haemagglutinin (HA) region of the virus’ gene.”

The above facts link the D225G with more severe cases. Also, it means that D225G is getting a higher % share of the H1N1 flu.

In the beginning of the pandemic, all eyes were on the mutation of the germ. At first, the virus did not change much. Now it is changing quickly to survive. Many people are immune to it due to catching it before. Also, the flu vaccine has made lots of people immune. The new mutation could help the germ spread. The virus’s reason for existence is to infect host. It must infect fresh host to survive or die.

Since the H1N1 share many traits with its mother the record-breaking 1918 Spanish flu, it would be smart to prepare.

Natural selection would cause the D225G mutation to show up more and more times.

A child can see this train coming down the tracks.

Do not panic. Proper preparation will help you avoid the swine flu. Call 719-237-1167 for a free sample 165 pages interactive and multimedia e-Book manual.
